Edinburgh history private guided tour tag 2

1h-1h30

At only 1hr this tour is ideal for kiddos who don't want to spend hours walking outside! Explore the historic marvel of Edinburgh during our tour made for families with young children. Did you know that the national animal of Scotland is a unicorn? During this tour, you'll hunt for magical animals and learn the history of Edinburgh and Scotland through its legends, and a couple of fun child friendly activities such as blowing soap bubbles against the "gardyloo"

Tour Highlights:

  • Royal Mile: Head up the iconic Royal Mile, a medieval thoroughfare brimming with historical significance. We'll need your help finding all the unicorns and Thistles hidden around town. Do you know why the thistle is so important in Scotland? Like all good stories it started with a king...

  • Closes and Wynds: Venture into the hidden closes of Edinburgh and learn about how dirty they were - we'll need your help to blow soap bubbles to clean them up!

  • Greyfriars Kirkyard: Learn about the history of Bobby, the good dog who stayed for years in the cemetery guarding his master's grave. Will you manage to complete the bobby puzzle and help us fit his statue back together?
