1h30
Start your wizarding adventure and immerse yourself in the world of ancient craftsmanship by learning the art of creating your own grimoire. This hands-on workshop is designed for budding wizards and seasoned enthusiasts alike. It's a unique opportunity to create a magical tome that reflects your personality. Unleash your artistic spirit and learn the timeless art of creating a book, then take it home!
Workshop Highlights:
Introduction to bookbinding:
Start learning the craft with an introduction to the art of bookbinding. Discover the secrets of choosing the right tools and materials, from leather to paper, to create a grimoire that exudes charm and character. Learn how to assemble and bind your grimoire. Our expert instructors will guide you through the process, ensuring that your creation is not only visually beautiful, but also durable and ready to stand the test of time.
Choose the size of your grimoire:
Small notebooks measure around 13 x 11 cm and contain 150 pages of heavyweight blank paper. These notebooks have a postcard orientation, which means the seams are on the short side of the cover. This makes them ideal as sketchbooks or tarot cards.
Medium-sized notebooks measure around 13 x 20 cm and feature 150 pages of heavyweight blank paper. They're ideal for writing, drawing, sketching, collage, spell books and much more.
The large notebooks measure around 23x30 cm and are very heavy! They feature 6 sections and 165 pages of heavyweight, mixed-technique blank paper. Ideal for grimoires, books of shadows, wedding albums or cookbooks.
Design your grimoire:
Unleash your creative energy as you design the cover of your magical tome. Explore various decorative elements, such as symbols, sigils and magical motifs, to give your grimoire a unique, personalized touch.
With your grimoire in hand, you'll be ready to write an unforgettable book!
