  • Old Town's Royal Mile: Begin your exploration on the historic Royal Mile, the backbone of Edinburgh's Old Town. Wander through its atmospheric closes and wynds, each concealing tales of medieval life, trade, and tumultuous events. Discover the significance of landmarks such as St. Giles' Cathedral and the Mercat Cross. Try some local snacks along the way and learn how food influenced how people lived in medieval Edinburgh.

  • Tron Kirk Market: Enjoy this lovely church transformed into a craft market

  • Fudge: Sample some fresh, hand-made fudge; a local delicacy!

  • Food Tasting: Finish your tour at a local restaurant to trying one of the following combinations:

  • Choose a traditional dish of your choice: haggis taster, cullen skink (traditional smoked fish soup) or cranachan (local dessert)

None - however we recommend our family tour of the Old Town if you have young children

Fitness Requirements

We always try to adapt to you and we can of course have breaks during your walking tour.

If you can comfortably walk less than 4 to 5km, you will not struggle.

Wheelchair & stroller accessibility: The tour is wheelchair & stroller accessible – however, note that there will be one steep slope during the tour

Free cancellation with full refund until 7 days before the start of the tour. Non refundable afterwards.
