Do you love sewing, knitting or crochet? Embark on a journey through the ancient art of spinning with a Drop Spindle Workshop. For centuries, you could not buy pre-made yarn at the store, you had to make your own based on wool. Workshop attendees will learn the basics of the ancient craft of spindle spinning, and take home the yarn they spin. In addition to this, attendees will take home their own drop spindle and their choice of Shetland roving braid so they can keep up the craft afterward!

Join us for an hour of creativity, tradition, and hands-on learning. Your soft yarn will be great for your projects: from knitting jumpers, to yarn dolls or pompoms.
